Well - here we go with tHE HIBERNATION DIET. I have been taking the honey at night now for several days, and have studied the book. It all make sense. I have always lived on healthy food - there were no convenience foods around when I was young (with the exception of baked beans!!), and we live far to far away from take aways! I have "tweaked" my regime a bit to be more in line with the diet - but that is all it needed. Unfortunately, my stomach doesn't much like leafy green veg - eating them cooked can have quite dire consequences nowadays! - but today I ate some cabbage raw with a little dressing, and I am hoping for the best!! I am large and heavy with a big frame and muscles for a woman - and I have never been able to lose weight! A controlled-carb diet lost me half a stone (not gone on again!), and took me down from 44/43/54 to 38/36/48 over the last 6 years - so I am not really expecting to lose weight on this regime, but if I take an inch or so off my waist and thighs, I shall be extremely pleased... In the meantime, I am certaily benefiting from the nightly honey - sleeping better, waking refreshed and with more energy in the day - all as promised! I have no scales but will try to weight myself as and when. Just now, I believe myself to be approx 14 st 10 lbs! topspinster
