A friend had a horse with a severely damaged leg due to getting caught up in a wire fence. The wound became horribly infected even though antibiotics were being used. As a last resort the vet suggested trying manuka honey which was smeared onto dressing and then applied to wounds. Neither he nor we could believe the speed with which the infection cleared and the wound healed up to leave very little in the way of scarring. Since then I have been a complete convert - always keeping manuka to hand in various forms.

I bought some Medhoney Wound Gel from The Honey Doctor to treat a very bad scrape on my husband's shin. The gel healed the wound very well indeed - and again recently when he opened up the same place!! I was very concerned that the wound wouldn't ulcerate - which it certainly hasn't. My husband - who really doesn't believe much in natural remedies - says the wound gell is wonderful!! I also used it on a persistant patch of fungus infection - which it has dealt with in short order. I could no longer survive with The Honey Doctor - thank you for changing my life!! From Top Spinster

Just to let you know that after just one week of using your Maduka Honey, the MRSA has been completely obliterated from a wound.
Thank you.
Perhaps hospitals and the medical profession generally should be made aware of the honey treatment.
