View Article  Poppy The Dog My Story

My name is Poppy Arran
I am a middle-aged Labrador with a passion for food and alas I have rather weak hips and could not gallop fast enough to catch my extra dinner so my mummy gave me some pills which were a help. Then my sister Molly’s mummy came to visit my mummy and saw I was lame (and fat) and told her I should have magic Honey. I love it and it has taken away my soreness and I’m so happy as I can have honey for breakfast and often pheasants for elevenses.”

Honey Venz for Pets is also recommended for cats and horses and is available in capsules or as delicious honey with fish-oil.

View Article  Horse With Damaged Leg

A friend had a horse with a severely damaged leg due to getting caught up in a wire fence. The wound became horribly infected even though antibiotics were being used. As a last resort the vet suggested trying manuka honey which was smeared onto dressing and then applied to wounds. Neither he nor we could believe the speed with which the infection cleared and the wound healed up to leave very little in the way of scarring. Since then I have been a complete convert - always keeping manuka to hand in various forms.
